βασιλεύω (basileuō) — Verb
From the Greek βασιλεύω (basileuō), from basileus (king): to reign, to exercise royal rule. Grammatical force: Paul uses the future indicative of believers — they shall reign. It is stated as coming fact rather than potential, and the subject of the verb is the redeemed rather than an abstraction. Theological depth: Scripture presents grace as elevating rather than merely restoring. The remedy does not return humanity to Eden's starting point but seats the redeemed in a dominion Adam forfeited.
