“Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.”
(KJV)
The One who died and rose is the same One now at God's right hand making intercession.
The Advocate with the FatherNew Testament

(KJV)
John names the office in courtroom terms, and adds that He is Jesus Christ the righteous.
The Witness on HighOld Testament
“Also now, behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high.”
(KJV)
Even in his darkness Job reaches for it: behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high.
Silence inner accusations today by remembering that your High Priest holds the floor in heaven for you.
Passage:
Focus: Dwell on the phrase "now to appear in the presence of God for us." He stands there on your behalf.
Ask yourself: When accusation comes — from your own memory or from someone else — where do your thoughts go first? Practise sending them to a place rather than to an argument: He is there, for you, now.
Jehovah our Father, when accusation comes I answer it alone, and I need not: Christ is entered into heaven itself, now to appear in Your presence for me. Let Your Holy Spirit settle my heart in that advocacy today. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus, who appears before You on my behalf. Amen.
